Morgan left his position as the head of border patrol in January 2017, shortly after President Trump signed a plan of executive orders.
Mark Morgan would lead Immigration and Customs Enforcement, took over as acting director of the ICE agency according to an announcement made by Kevin McAleenan the Homeland Security Secretary.
