Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola has condemned Sadio Mane Liverpool star of diving even though he talks about next weekend’s clash between the Premier League foe.
Sadio Mane, Senegal wingers scored Liverpool’s winner in the fourth minute of the tie-up time as the leader scored twice in the last moments to evade with a 2-1 victory at Aston Villa on Saturday.
Senegal winger Mane has been reserved for the first half at Villa haven and that didn’t change Guardiola thinking against him.
Liverpool remains six-point clear of City ahead of their critical showdown at Anfield on Sunday and this awareness Guardiola understands the European Champions will be difficult to apprehend provided their relentless hustle.
Guardiola speaks after City appeared from behind to win against Southampton 2-1, told BBC Sport, “it has transpired many times, what Liverpool has done, in the last few years, it’s because Mane is an outstanding talented player”. Occasionally he has this skill to scored unbelievable goals in the last minute of the game. He’s a talent.
“If it’s one time, two times, we are fortunate, we are fortunate, but it happened in the last two seasons many, many times. They have special attitudes to do that, Guardiola explained.
