Lucy Bronze, Lyon defender and Manchester City forward Ellen White played remarkable key part in the lionesses reaching the World Cup semi-final in July this year.

Ellen White, made the switch to Manchester City from Birmingham City in May having been the WSL’s top scorer in 2017-18.

Women’s World Cup a number of players was chosen and nominated for Ballon d’Or.

Alex Morgan, United State co-captains and Megan Rapinoe who both scored six goals during the tournament, make the list.

Lucy Bronze was named in the women’s team of the year at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Milan last month and was the only English player to make the line up.

Top goal scorer and best player of the tournament in France during World Cup competition, Megan Rapinoe, 34, won the Golden Boot and Golden Ball after helping the United States win the competition.

The Women’s Ballon d’Or winner will named in Paris on 2 December 2019.
